Some of my favourite times now that me and my three siblings are older, is when we look through photographs my parents have of us, the wonky D-I-Y fringes, the matching outfits, the Christmas lunches squeezed around three dining tables pushed together…
Even twenty years later we are still re-living moments of our childhood, all thanks to the little details in a photograph.
These conversations are golden to me, wistfully taking me back to a time when we didn’t have phones stuck to our hands, a million jobs to do and places to be, just us.
This is why I take photographs. So that everyone can have these kinds of moments in their futures.
